The theme is “Country Christmas.”
AGE GROUPS:
Young Ones (5 years and under)
Juniors (6yrs-12yrs)
Teens (13yrs-18yrs)

Family – 2 or more related persons
Organizations – scout troops, other group projects

BUILD TO CODE: (All entries will be displayed, but to win you must follow these rules!)
All entries must be completely edible. Paper, plastic, glass, toothpicks, lollipop sticks, etc. are not acceptable as part of the structure or scene.
Gingerbread must be home-made (no pre-baked, pre-packaged or kit materials.) Construction using graham crackers, pretzels, cereal or other edible materials is also allowed!
All structures must be built on a STURDY platform such as a cutting board, plywood or heavy cardboard. All structures must be built on one platform not to exceed 24″ x 24″x 24″.

Limited space available. Only 5 gingerbread houses will be accepted per category.
All entries may be dropped off at the Ross Ragland Theater on Monday, November 27th and Tuesday, November 28th from 9 am to 5 pm.
PUBLIC VIEWING AND JUDGING:
Judging will take place on Friday, December 1st. (Closed to the public.) Judges must come by the Ragland Offices between the hours of 9 am-5 pm.
Gingerbread houses will be on display for public viewing in the Ross Ragland lobby windows from Wednesday, November 29th until Friday, December 8th. (The lobby will not be open.)
AWARDS CEREMONY:
Awards will be presented on Saturday, December 9th at 11 a.m.
***Please, pick up all entries immediately after the ceremony on Saturday, December 9th, if you are able to. If you are not able to take your entry that day, please be sure to pick it up on Monday, December 11th between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m! All leftover gingerbread houses will be thrown away at the end of the day.***
PRIZES:
Preschool age (5 and under): Everyone is a winner. Each entrant will receive a small, wrapped gift and the top winner will receive the grand gift for this category.
Ages 6-12: Winner receives $50 and 2 Ross Ragland Ticket vouchers
Ages 13-18: Winner receives $50 and 2 Ross Ragland Ticket vouchers
Ages 18+: Winner receives $50 and 2 Ross Ragland Ticket vouchers
Organizations: Winner receives $100 and 2 Ross Ragland Ticket vouchers.
Family: Winner receives $100 plus a Family 4 pack of Ross Ragland Ticket vouchers.
Entrants must be present to win prize in their category.
